Tricolor, a Streets client looked after by Partner Richard Moor and Director Sarah Leonard in the firm’s Cambridge office, is a museum and heritage development consultancy, which we are delighted to announce has been shortlisted for the prestigious national Museums & Heritage Awards as Supplier of the Year.

The company, founded in 2010 by Frank Crosby and Sarah Dowd, works with museum, heritage and cultural clients around the country, helping them become better businesses. County projects include the development of the Viva Spencer’s Mill in Soham as well as Ely Museum. The sector has been particularly badly hit by the pandemic with many organisations going under or uncertain about their future. Tricolor have been shortlisted for the award because the team ran large numbers of free advice and mentoring sessions for cultural organisations across the country, to help them cope with the unprecedented threat to the sector.

When asked about what being shortlisted for the Museums & Heritage Award means to the team at Tricolor, Frank Crosby, said: "We're passionate about museums, heritage and culture and their importance for people and communities. We were determined to help ensure that these important elements of our culture were not wiped out by the pandemic.

“We worked with local museums, castles, historic railways, cathedrals, volunteer groups and wildlife trusts, amongst others, all very different organisations but all facing common threats. We worked with them to help them not just survive, but to aim to thrive. We were delighted and humbled to hear that we'd been nominated by the organisations we'd helped and touched by the number of people who've voted for us."

The winner of the Museum & Heritage Awards 2021 Supplier of the Year will be decided by a public vote, open until 28 May. As part of our support for Tricolor we would encourage you all to vote for them using the button below
