Charities and social enterprises to receive financial help from unlocked dormant bank accounts

The Government has announced that £150m from dormant bank and building society accounts is to be unlocked to help charities, social enterprises and vulnerable individuals affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.

It has been indicated that £220m worth of grants will be available for organisations that are supporting both people and communities experiencing disproportionate challenges and difficulty during the pandemic and those who provide services and support to vulnerable people who have seen increased demand and challenges on funding.
