It doesn’t seem five minutes since we launched our last website in 2011, how the World Wide Web has developed over the last 5 years.

With an increasing use of our website for information dissemination and as a dynamic interface between ourselves, clients, intermediaries and the wider business community, it is vital we ensure it responds to the changing needs and demands of web users. In particular websites need to have clear and simple navigation and be responsive to the growing number of users accessing information on mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Equally new business is now more likely to be generated via the web than it is by more traditional approaches such as direct marketing, telesales or advertising. Certainly more and more people are as likely to look online for professional services as they are to buy a product or other goods and services.

Whilst launching a new website is not likely to be worthy of press coverage or great celebration we do feel our new website www.streetsweb.co.uk is worthy of special attention and a look.  Over the last few months we have spent a great deal of time understanding how visitors to our site use and interact with it, along with what they want to see or use on the site.

With this in mind and acknowledging the need to simplify the user experience we have set out to and believe we have created a new site which is clean, extremely functional and easy to use, especially for those accessing information on a mobile platform. We are particularly pleased with the result and hope you feel the same.

We have also strived to create a greater personal link between our work and the clients we look after. It is very easy these days for businesses to become impersonal – our client relationship is very much at the heart of what we do and we have sought to reflect this with our new website.  Recognising that both businesses and private individuals will often look to a website for specialist knowledge, topical updates and advice, we have not only expanded this aspect but also made it much easier to access.

The proof though is in the pudding, so to experience our new website please do take a look. To ensure you enjoy the optimum user experience our website is best viewed using Google Chrome and you may need to refresh your browser! On the basis we believe you will find our new site useful and informative then please do add it to your favourites and share it with colleagues and contacts.

We are also delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the B2B website category at the Cambridgeshire Digital Awards 2016!
