The start of a New Year sees the start of an exciting new role for Martin Clarke following his appointment with us as Banking and Corporate Adviser.
Martin joins us from Lloyds Banking Group where he has held a number of high profile roles latterly being the Senior Manager for SME businesses in Lincolnshire. With over 35 years commercial banking experience he has looked after the banking requirements of a diverse portfolio of customers from across the East Midlands and further afield.
In his new role Martin will focus on assisting the firm’s clients with their banking issues, as well as working alongside the firm’s corporate finance arm to support the deal making team whether it is in the area of business acquisition, disposal or re-structure.
Commenting on his new role Martin said: “I have known Streets for a number of years and always viewed them as a major force and player within the area. I have worked with a number of Partners on various transactions and relish the challenge of being able to use my skills and experience to add value to the firm and its clients.”
Commenting on the importance of Martin’s appointment to the firm, Chairman and Managing Partner, Paul Tutin, said: “We are really delighted to have secured Martin’s appointment, not only will he bolster and strengthen our business development team, but he too will be a great asset to our Corporate Finance and Banking Advisory teams. Certainly we have seen heightened interest and activity amongst our clients and prospects around business transactions and reviewing their banking requirements.
“It is therefore important we that we are able to respond to these. We are confident will be able to add value to such transactions not least with his knowledge of the banking treatment and funding requirements.”
