Job Purpose:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts clients

Job role

The advisory work will involve M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, restructures and reorganisations, succession and exit planning including but not limited to company buybacks, capital reductions & MBO’s.

In addition, you will be responsible for undertaking technical compliance reviews of corporation tax computations prepared by the team.

This is an autonomous role where you will have responsibility for managing the projects undertaken, maximising fee income and identifying business opportunities, controlling work in progress and billing for services provided.

While the role is focused on corporate matters, ideally you will have some knowledge/experience in personal tax, VAT if possible and Stamp Duty/Stamp Duty Land Tax.

We are looking for an accomplished Tax Director for our expanding tax consultancy practice. The chosen candidate will lead in providing tax advisory services to our clients, overseeing planning, management, and compliance related to corporation tax, income tax, and capital gains tax. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert tax consultancy for all aspects of clients' tax operations, including compliance, reporting and planning

Experience is more important than qualification for this role, which requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication skills.

Audit Senior

Lincoln Office

We are looking to recruit an experienced and professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA) Audit Senior for our Lincoln office.

The successful candidate will be involved in Audit work and depending on previous audit experience will take on the management role for some clients within this function. Experience of the supervision and training of junior members of staff will be useful however of more importance to us is the ability to develop good working relationships with new and existing clients. They will also be expected to undertake accounts preparation as part of their role.

To be considered candidates should have the relevant technical experience (preferably at least 2 years post qualification practice experience) and competence. They should be ambitious and self motivated with the desire to develop their career and possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to prioritise their time and meet deadlines.
